Successful Study Tour to Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (GoHealth)!
The Executive Secretary BASHCMA, Alh. Ibrahim Inuwa Duguri, accompanied by some of his Directors and Program Officers, embarked on a fruitful 2-day study tour to the Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (GoHealth) on 24th February 2026.
On Day 1, we held an insightful interactive session at the Agency's office, where we gained valuable knowledge on their operations, contributory health scheme implementation, challenges, and successes in advancing Universal Health Coverage in Gombe State.
Day 2 featured practical on-site visits to: - A Primary Health Centre (PHC) - A General Hospital - The Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe (affiliated with Gombe State University)
This exchange has strengthened our understanding and opened doors for potential improvement on health financing and service delivery in our own context.

The Bauchi State Health Contributory Management Agency BASHCMA has engaged the Bauchi State Fire Service for capacity building on fire safety and prevention on Thursday 19th February, 2026. The Executive Secretary Alh Ibrahim Inuwa Duguri Yeriman yankari urges the staff to put in their best to prevent any fire outbreak in office or at home and to cascade down the training to their family members, friends and community.
BASHCMA 1st 2026 bi-annual General staff meeting on Wednesday 18th February, 2026, the meeting was chaired by the Executive Secretary Alh Ibrahim Inuwa Duguri yeriman yankari.
The Trade Union Congress (TUC) Bauchi Chapter paid an advocacy visit to the Executive Secretary BASHCMA to strengthen their Collaboration and introduce the newly elected Excos of the Union.
